Coordinated control system could combine boiler and steam turbine as a whole, coordinate with each other to control, which makes both the boiler and steam turbine meet the need for change of power load as soon as possible, so as to maintain unit safe and operation stable. Coordinated control system is a non-linear, multivariable, large time delay, strong coupling and complex system. As a result, how to improve the quality of this kind of control system, and achieved good control effect, it has been an important subject for domestic and foreign scholars to study.Coordinated control system for 300 MW drum boiler has been analyzed in this article, the dynamic performance of the controlled object in this system are analyzed, and classified coordinated control system from the instruction balance and the energy balance, the direct energy balance which has been described in detail. We collected the data of the system objects on the simulation, and using the system identification toolbox of MATLAB to establish the system mathematical model, then we work for decoupling design and simulation by using the mathematical model which has been established. Finally, as an example of 300 MW drum boiler units, coordinated control system of turbine and boiler characteristic for drum boiler are analyzed, using the one-way decoupling to optimize the systems, by comparing the system running status before and after the optimization, it can been seen that the effect of the optimized control system has been improved significantly, and the unit running more stable. Meanwhile, the local control logic of auxiliary engine failure load reduction has been optimized, in order that it can be shut down the first mill in sequence when the run back signal acts, so that we can avoid the accident blocked of the mill effectively while ensuring running safety and stability of the units.
