Industrial engineering is a cross discipline combining with engineering management. It takes the system engineering, operations research as scientific basis, become the basic technology for implementing the management innovation. Financial engineering is an interdisciplinary combined with engineering, finance, financial innovation as the core, integrated use of modern financial theory, tools, techniques and methods, a new financial discipline creatively to solve the financial problem, has the strong application and technology. Industrial Engineering and financial engineering is an important technique to improve the competitiveness of enterprises of the present stage. A comparative study of the two, will help people to correctly understand and grasp the inherent law of new disciplines, to promote the healthy development of the national economy.Based on the industrial engineering and financial engineering in common engineering properties as the breakthrough point, through using the method of comparative analysis, according to its purpose, nature and application, carries on the analysis from the efficiency, innovation and energy of these three aspects, to identify similarities exist these two disciplines with different point, so that it can learn from each other, and try to give full play to creativity thinking to solve the relevant problems in the field of. From an academic point of view, discusses the efficiency and innovation of industrial engineering and financial engineering, and points out the purpose and essence of industrial engineering and financial engineering, puts forward the new ideas for Transboundary application between disciplines. From the application point of view, analyze the application of industrial engineering and financial engineering in the field of energy, and the two subjects in the electric power, coal, oil of the three large energy field effect has carried on the concrete analysis and comparison by multiple cases, find out the same points of their application in the field of energy and the different point, has help to know the developing direction of energy industry.Main contributions of the dissertation are given from the theory and practice of the same point in industrial engineering and financial engineering in three aspects of innovation, efficiency and energy and different point, describes the theory and methods of industrial engineering to in the financial field function: it can make financial efficiency is greatly improved; create a lot of new financial products and financial services; reduce transaction costs, improve the degree of convenience of investment, financing; provides a standard for the government macroeconomic regulation and control and financial management and other departments, and provide oversight of financial markets and financial institutions for technical support. At the same time, the theory and method of financial engineering can also be a crucial role in the field of management: can reduce the cost of enterprises; reduce the waste of resources; to avoid the production and operation of the market risk; improve the business results and comprehensive quality.
