| Engineering education, especially engineering education provides talents and intellectual support for industrial development, and push technology revolution and the industrial revolution directly, so as to achieve social and economic development and further enhance the comprehensive national strength and international competitiveness.In this dissertation, the history of higher engineering education and the status quo of the Chinese engineering education have been systematically summed up. Also the structure of China's higher engineering education and engineering education curriculum of higher necessity and historical limitations have been discussed. The facing challenges and opportunities and challenges of the basic conditions to win an in-depth analysis of higher engineering education have been studied which constitute the theorectical basis of the sustainable development of Chinese higher engineering education.The inaccurate target location and unclear running characteristics of higher engineering education, the lack of joint training system between universities and business have been analyzed. The successful experiences of higher engineering education reform in Russia, Japan and the United States have been comparatively studied. Proposals have been put forward to accelerate the higher engineering education reform in the aspects of the theory into engineering education, the training of design ability and creative ability, the integration of production, teaching, and research.The results of this research has some theoretical significance as well as the important reference value in the new period of engineering education, especially higher engineering education. |
