The existence of the modern life cannot leave the electricity, so the power system reliability and security of the demand is higher and higher. Zinc oxide lightning arrester as an important over-voltage protection device, the equipment state quality directly influences the safe and stable operation of power system, so we need a highly efficient and reliable equipment monitoring means to ensure power system stable and reliable operation.This article focuses on the on-line monitoring system for architecture research and optimization, in the existing zinc oxide lightning arrester, on the basis of on-line monitoring system for research, analysis of existing problems of the development system,and establish a new online monitoring system, integration of existing online monitoring resources. Adopts the hierarchical distributed field bus structure, with the model of the upper machine and lower machine,on the monitoring equipment by the installation of intelligent monitoring unit to complete the signal acquisition and processing, transform the monitoring unit of the signal to digital signal, according to the communication protocols to superior host, the host storage analysis task, complete data and fault diagnosis.According to zinc oxide lightning arrester equivalent circuit, the paper analyzes the zinc oxide lightning arrester by stray capacitance,voltage transformer, power grid harmonic voltage and the influence of voltage fluctuation on the current characteristics, and gives the improvement of some interference factors and compensation scheme,reduce the monitoring the current error, avoid miscalculation. In view of the Inner Mongolia region difference in temperature, wind, low temperature, special climate environment measured in laboratory experiments, the study found that the temperature of arrester small current area influence on the insulation monitoring parameters, and sometimes exceeded equipment set allowed error range, cause a miscalculation of the arrester, but for the Inner Mongolia region have little impact on the special environment of low temperature; Dry climate environment on the impact leakage current monitoring equipment insulation resistance is very small, at the same time through the system monitoring data of transverse comparison and analysis, set up the compensation methods to eliminate error of the environment. To be able to better adapt to the special environmental conditions of Inner Mongolia. For Inner Mongolia region during the spring and autumn wind is big, is bound to increase the degree of surface filth, thereby increasing the resistance current component, may lead to miscarriage, USES the monitoring unit with good sealing performance. All monitoring equipment has carried on the basic performance and function test, also has carried on the electromagnetic compatibility test, the monitoring to the show system devices meet the demand of Inner Mongolia power grid, security reliable, stable and continuous operation of the grid.Use case prove that this system through the actual project, whether in the construction of the new intelligent substation, or in the reform of the old station, it can be to on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis analysis of lightning arrester, based on the analysis of all kinds of curve and data as a result, the lightning arrester insulation performance of the trend analysis, have good application prospects.
