In recent years, with the rapid development in railway of China, the construction of extra-long railway tunnel has sprung up rapidly. However, the fire of the extra-long railway tunnel has more damage than fire of the building on the ground due to the tubular structure.The fire of extra-long railway tunnel has the characteristics, like the unpredictability, the destructiveness of the tunnel’s safeguard construction and the injuries, which inflict serious economic damage and personnel casualty. At present, due to the lack of emergency rescue for the extra-long railway tunnel fire, the problem of disaster prevention and rescue fot extra-long railway tunnel fire is fundamentally unresolved.This paper research the key technology of emergency rescue on extra-long railway tunnel by integrating the theoretical method and simulation of the FDS software. Three key points are conncerned in this paper. They are the response measures of high temperature, the fast and efficient rescue and the emission of flue gas.(1) The response measures of high temperature; Cooling is the first and most important task of emergency rescue for extra-long railway tunnel fire. In this paper, we select a fire extinguishing agent by evaluating fire extinguishing agent set using the theory of fuzzy mathematics method. The selected fire extinguishing agent is Novec1230.(2) The fast and efficient rescue; For the emergency rescue of extra-long railway tunnel fire, one problem is that the emergency rescue must be implemented in a short span of time.In this paper, a kind of emergency vehicle is invented which load the selected fire extinguishing agent mentioned in(1). This emergency vehicle not only copes with the high temperature of the fire, but also reduces the time of emergency rescue. Besides, the injuries can be treatment in the interior of the emergency vahicle.(3) The emission of flue gas; The damage of the flue gas in extra-long railway tunnel fire cannot be ignored. In this paper, we make some research about the emmission of flue gas in extra-long railway tunnel fire using the simulation of the FDS software. For the simulation,we set up the exhaust vents for the extra-long railway tunnel and analyzed the effectiveness of smoke extraction with different mechanical smoke extraction cases. These analysises contribute to the analysis of mechanical smoke exhaust rate and valuable.
