The sliding bearing has some remarkable features and high-property, so it is widely used in field of machine. The performance of the sliding bearing becomes a important topic. In this paper the oil film of the sliding bearing is studied, the suspension between the cylinders is a model that the oil film of the sliding bearing is a reduced form. The paper studies the stability of flow of suspension between two cylinders with solid particles in it on the basis of two-phase fluid dynamics. The study considers the radial wave number’s effect. With considering the radial flow the particles phase effect on the stability of the suspension. Then it obtains the conclusion that as the concentration of solid particles in suspension, the diameter of the particles, the density of particles and the gap of the cylinders changes, the stability of the flow will happen to change.The oil film of the sliding bearing analyzes the computational fluid dynamic. With considering the particles and the cavitations effect the bearing capacity happens to change. The pressure distribution of the sliding bearing is obtained in the concentric state and the eccentricity state with the particles and the cavitations effect. Furthermore, the paper also studies the effect of alteration of particles concentration in suspension on loading capacity of oil film of sliding bearing of single or double hole in low rotation rate and heavy loads. The alteration of particles effects on the bearing capacity under different bearing clearance has been obtained. At last the alteration of the oil hole diameter effect on the bearing capacity also is obtained.The calculating results showed that increasing concentration of the particles leads to the rising loading capacity; and in particular concentration of particles, larger diameter of the solid particles is, more load capacity the oil film takes; under increasing the diameter of oil hole in the load region the bearing capacity is larger. In addition, the total deformation cloud and the stress cloud are obtained in different diameter of the oil hole. At last, the paper provides the theoretical fundaments of the design of additives of oil film and suggests that the design should consider both the stability of flow of suspension and loading capacity of oil film in practical condition.
