Yundong area of the north of area of canal of irrigation of Huaian, is located in center of North Jiangsu, low-lying, surrounded by water on three sides,west to the LiYun River,south to waterway to the sea,and north to Abandoned Yellow River. Due to the low standard drainage design, long sea line, serious waterlogging disasters with shortage discharge outlet, low standard internal drainage riverway in the north of area of canal of irrigation, flood happens frequently in this region. The local people’s suffers seriously from the frequent flood disaster in history, especially because of low-lying reason. The paper is in combined with an instance of the area of drainage pumping station layout planning in Yundong area of the north of area of canal of irrigation of Huaian, using a one-dimensional unsteady flow model to Analysis and research the pump station location layout.Based on the history and current situation of flood of the north of area of canal of irrigation, combined with the actual situation, this paper selects appropriate drainage standard to carry out drainage hydrological calculations and plan river system with drainage in partition, puting forward a variety of combination scheme, which by using a one-dimensional unsteady flow model to draw generalized map of river network of Yundong area, handle channel nodes, cross section, boundary conditions using FORTRAN to compile water application process of unsteady flow to process the data, applying MATLAB to draw the stage hydrographs of rivers, combined to the highest calculation of the river section and the process line of the water level. When the same drainage pumping station encounter a certain amount of waterlogging water, considering different pumping station layout on the degree of lower water level, the paper try to compare four drainage pumping station layout schemes and select the best option. Combination of scientific pumping station is given, through the optimization. The layout of pump station is arranged along the sea. (i,e.5 station plan, New JianHe pumping station Q=115m3/s,South branch river station Q=65m3/s,Yu riverside station Q=60m3/s,Xinghuai river station Q=150m3/s, HengHe standing Q=80m3/s).Optimizing the drainage pumping station layout has the actual reference significance to improve the east area disaster.
