Study On The Related Issues Of Flood Control And Waterlogging Elimination Planning In Jintan City

Jintan City is located at the western area of Taihu Lake. Water is closely related with domestic terrain. The western part is hilly regions,and the source is short, flow is hurry; The middle of Jintan City is mainly polder area. The pressure of flood control and waterlogging elimination is huge; On account of high water level of Taihu and water development is under sound, drainage is not smooth in the eastern plain. Meanwhile, Jintan City is developing fast and keeps a high urbanization level, but the standard of flood control and waterlogging elimination is lower, the issures of flood and waterlogging are obvious. So the need of planning is urgent. Therefore, it has certain directive significance and application value to develop the discussion and research of flood control and waterlogging elimination planning and related issues in Jintan City.This paper studies related problems of flood control and waterlogging elimination planning in Jintan City.â‘ Flood control and waterlogging elimination planning:According to the specific situation of Jintan water system, this thesis analyses water regime and flood characteristics, combing basin, region, urban development plan. And this thesis determines the overall layout of flood control and waterlogging elimination, dividing flood control area, executing flood control plans of each area. Meanwhile this paper classifies the level of main river on the basis of ralated hydrological calculation, working out flood control and waterlogging elimination planning project of each area.â‘¡Checking capacity of flood drainage of hilly region channel:According to the characteristics and range of small watershed flow in hilly area,this thesis combines several small watersheds into a large independent watershed,using inference formula to calculate flow of Xidang river combined basin.â‘¢Checking cross section of main river in polder:This paper analyses a certain area which has similar characteristic as polder and uses one-dimensional unsteady flow model to simulate river network, observing variation of water level under unfavorable working condition, checking cross section.â‘£Analyse the impact on flood and runoff according to urbanization in Jintan City:This paper makes significance test in terms of rainfall and water level data to get the significant difference of rainfall and water level around 1990. Finally this paper puts forward corresponding water system control measures.
