With the development of radar, electronic warfare and navigation technology,electromagnetic measuring range has been gradually extended to the RF, microwave,millimeter wave and even optical wave fields. Pulsed RF signal is a class of important signals in radar, electronic warfare systems and digital communication systems. Thus,accurately making measurement on time domain and modulation parameters of pulse envelope has become a very important issue.This design has developed a parameter measurement software of modulated pulses,with the input of digital orthogonal demodulated I/Q baseband signals. The software can be applied to a variety of digital IF platforms with baseband output, such as spectrum analyzer based on digital IF technology, and combines the spectrum analysis and time domain measurements together, to further enhance the value of the spectrum analyzer.Specific contents of this thesis are(1) By the parameter measurement requirements analysis of time-domain, modulation-domain and statistical measurement, the software designed a general plan of interface and parameter measurement.(2)Using the modal of density distribution, phase unwrapping, phase differential and CCDF statistical arithmetic, the thesis accomplished the measurement of time-varying characteristics such as amplitude, frequency, phase, etc. and the statistical measurement analysis of power signal.(3)Designed and implemented the measurement capabilities of software by wx Widgets.The software with features of flexible data source configuration and dual-window display for multi-trace, gives users convenience of observation and analysis through its highly integrated menu control and auxiliary cursor functions. To improve the interoperability and data processing ability of the software, the thesis adopts multi-threaded programming, creating four kinds of thread and achieved the synchronization between each thread.(4)Verified main function of the software through the measurements of single carrier frequency pulses and chirp pulses, so as to prove the effectiveness and practicality of the software.
