On one hand, as the maintenance of aero-engine not only has great economic value but also has huge strategic significance. Moreover, the parts of aero-engine repair relate to a number of substances so that its warehouse management is a very important issue. On the other hand, with the development of the application of information technology and the popularity of warehouse management system, the inventory management in enterprises has gradually get rid of the interference of human factors.In addition, the collection of data becomes not only faster but greatly improves its correct rate after using the bar code management. Barcode has been applied a lot in the field of supply chain, which has brought great convenience to logistics and inventory management as it makes the operation of inventory management more accurate and effective, reducing artificial errors and poor efficiencies caused by personnel fatigue, so that it has played a distinct role in improving the efficiency of inventory management.X factory as the aero-engine maintenance company directly the Air Force has high quality requirements of supplies. Therefore, in order to guarantee the full life cycle of supplies, X factory uses warehouse management and traceability system, combining the technology of barcode to collect raw data more accurately and efficiently. At the same time, it applies storehouse management, making full use of storage space to improve the efficiency of inventory management and reduce the costs of warehouse management.This paper by using information technology on the basis of conduction the process analysis of the repair parts of inventory management in X factory which is an aero-engine maintenance company, also application the method of barcode and inventory theory, and combination with researching content in details optimizes the design of the inventory management process, and analyses whether the existing process can perfect combine the information system or not to make optimization and reorganization, lower the costs of factory inventory management and improve management efficiency.As for the structure of this paper, firstly the preliminary research on the related theory, especially the barcode and inventory management theory and a detailed analysis of inventory management combing with the analysis of the actual situation of the factory inventory management to have a preparation of the design of warehouse management system are introduced. Additionally, as for the special case of the factory, this paper conducts the research and analysis of its inventories business, combines with the characteristics of information technology to optimize and restructure the process to design its database which can be made supports for the development of system. Finally, according to the actual needs of the traceability of supplies, this paper using information technology and inventory theory designs and develops a warehouse management and traceability system. |
