Research On Spare Parts Inventory Management Of SH Port Based On Supply Chain

As of April 2019,China’s annual cargo throughput has accumulated 14.3 billion tons,an increase of 2.5% over the previous year.Seven of the top ten ports in the world in terms of cargo throughput are in China,which shows that the annual business volume of ports is very large.Under the pressure of high-intensity work,the device need the spare parts for the maintenance.The good supply speed time and quality will guarant the continuous operation of Port Device.With the improved science technology,port machinery device get complex and high automatic.How to manage the spare parts of container terminal equipment scientifically,reduce the quantity,variety and capital occupation of spare parts in stock to the minimum,improve the utilization rate of spare parts,and at the same time meet the demand of efficient production on site has always been the container port operator and equipment design Major research topics.Firstly,this paper introduces the history of port development,the purpose of studying spare parts inventory management,the relevant methods of spare parts inventory management at home and abroad,and the main content and discussion structure of the article.Secondly,through the data,this artical mainly introduce the spare parts condition of SH port,analyzes the main problems existing in the current spare parts inventory management mode,and the necessity and feasibility of implementing the supply chain spare parts inventory management mode in SH port.Thirdly,combined with the relevant theories of spare parts management under the supply chain environment,the spare parts of the port are divided into two categories: fast flowing spare parts and slow flowing spare parts.Also introduce the two supply chain inventory management modes: VMI(Vendor Managed Inventory)and JMI(Joint Inventory Management)mode,and build a model to build a new spare parts inventory management mode of the port.Combined with the inventory management status of SH port,the fast flowing spare parts and slow flowing spare parts of SH port are classified,and optimized by using the idea of new supply chain management mode.Finally,according to the new optimized inventory management mode,the corresponding safeguard measures are put forward to implement and solve the problem of inventory management in SH port.
