Transportation industry plays an important role in the process of economic development in China. In the China’s land transportation system, the bridge is a key component. It facilitates road and railway’s accession to canyon, river and other natural barriers, also extends them rapidly. In recent years, the bridge collapses have occurred frequently in China and other countries. This leads to significant loss of lives and property to people, also have influenced society negatively. In recent years, major accidents of the bridge collapse are on the rise in China. To avoid frequent accidents, it is necessary to introduce effective bridge monitoring methods. Although main safety monitoring technology for bridge is the virtual instrument monitoring presently, many bridges still under the manual monitoring or non-monitoring could not meet the requirement of modern bridge monitoring system. In the future, the bridge health system will provide information and reference for safe operation, structural monitoring would be direction of development of bridge security.In this thesis, the research on the auto monitoring health for the bridge under operation will be conducted on the based on the specific projects. Based on PXI bus data acquisition system provided by American National Instrument Ltd. Co, Comparison method between sensors and data acquisition equipment the system will be carried out to find the advantages of equipment, study and implement the bridge health analysis system.Bridge during operations will be impacted in a variety of ways, and even by the ear thquake. A large bridge structure will produce different responses in different place, whi ch requires the operation of the bridge health monitoring systems which have the capabl e of simultaneous acquisition in the shortest time to achieve high resolution, precision a nd achieve efficient transmission status signal. Associated projects in this paper will be used the 8 channel produced by the USA National Instruments Co. Ltd. 24 vibration optimization and dynamic signal acquisition module PXI-3346 to complete dynamic synchronous signal of acceleration acquisition. The Jialing River Bridge of Nanchong dam will use the characteristics of distributed monitoring, the use of PXI-3346 signals can provide the highest accuracy, synchronization of the most stringent-- up to picosecond level based on, but will be limited to the physical connection cable length characteristics and its multi card synchronization conditions, After analyzing wireless synchronization or GPS and wired transmission medium characteristics, we’ll find out project monitoring system data and effective data synchronization transmission method in this project.We’ll use CPLD to drive the receiving and sending synchronization clock circuit design, in order to deal with effectively and verify synchronous data acquisition.In Nanchong zhongrangba Jialing River Bridge project will be built the unattended automatically bridge health monitoring system. The virtual machine technology will play an important role and the software development is the core of it, the software will be divided into three parts: the sensor field data acquisition program, the data security center and the structure evaluation system. The sensor field acquisition program consists of data acquisition, data analysis and data storage transmission; the data security center software includes data analysis, data storage and data display; the bridge structure evaluation system involves in auto recognition and analysis of alarm data security level. After completing analysis, LabVIEW provided by American National Instrument Ltd. Co. would be chosen to be the development language to design and innovate the function of each part of the system. This paper focuses on how to realize and operate data storage and data transmission. First of all, data is stored mainly through database software Microsoft SQLSERVER 2008 of LabVIEW, so as to realize the classification of data storage and user database management. Secondly, the data transmission will be realized by Ethernet Data Socket Technology in this paper, actually parts of the data processing function will be realized by LabVIEW here. Finally, the human-machine operation interface of monitoring center will be discussed and designed carefully, so as to access to real-time data, history data and data processing result.
