12mm-60mm Zoom Lens Design For Machine Vision

In recent years, as the increasing complexity of information technology,the concept of intelligent machines gradually penetrated into all areas of life,machine vision is more and more widely used in industrial production.security monitoring, scientific research and testing. To be a part of the machine vision image acquisition, lens plays a vital role in the final image quality of machine vision. With respect to the fixed-focus lens, because its focal length can be continuously change,the zoom lens can be applicable in more complex conditions. Therefore, in order to meet the requirement s of more case,the study of machine vision zoom lens has great significance.Base on the design work about the machine vision,the following work have been done in this paper:(1) It introduces the development history and trend of the zoom lens system and the current progress of zoom lens system at home and abroad.(2) According to the theory of Gaussian optics, The paper also discusses the basic concepts and basic types of zoom lens system, and analysis characteristics and zoom equation of traditional zoom lens system.(3) Design a 12mm-16mm zoom lens with ZEMAX,and analysis the imaging quality of this lens.
