Complex product design is typical of knowledge-intensive work. Along with global market competition, labor costs are increasing, resource and environmental constraints are also growing, which are difficult for enterprises to respond quickly to market.In this paper, in order to enhance the ability of enterprises to design quickly of complex product, this article launches a research on design knowledge reuse,for example, the paving machine, designs and develops a prototype system knowledge reuse.First of all, through the analysis of complex products demand for knowledge management, using the modeling method of product design based on ontology, for example, the paving machine, which completes the acquisition and modeling of paver products in the field of knowledge and the formal representation.Secondly, to establish the knowledge service system framework oriented design knowledge reuse, by studying the product life cycle theory, the product structure tree theory, expert knowledge map theory, building the design libraries,the physical structure of the library and library experts, to achieve a knowledge of the situational scene and contextualizing.Then,to study knowledge liquidity in knowledge reuse system, and propose knowledge management and innovation mechanisms combining knowledge reuse system.Finally, to complete the design of the knowledge reuse prototype system of paver design,achieving the paver design knowledge management, promoting the rapid design of products, and verifying the result of the study.
