Research On Product Design Knowledge Management Mechanism

Nowadays, the world is changing from industrial economy to knowledge economy, product innovation and advanced design and manufacturing technology based on knowledge have become the most active factor to drive economic development and business growth. To encourage reducing design cycle time, improving product quality and meeting the rapidly changing market conditions and customer demand, the study of knowledge management mechanism has great significance and value.Based on the existing research and methods of knowledge management and according to the deficiencies of design knowledge management mechanism, this paper , which centers on how to express design knowledge effectively and comprehensively and improve intelligent classification and retrieval, proposes an improved design knowledge management mechanism and achieves good results in practical. The main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1) After deep analysis of existing design knowledge management methods, this paper makes clear the complete concept of design knowledge representation methods. And a five-membered design knowledge expression model based on ontology is proposed. Then this paper validated the representation model through actual product design examples.(2) According to the needs of design knowledge management's visualization and ordering, this paper puts forward a four-dimensional classification system for design knowledge based on hypergraph model and achieves an effective division of design knowledge. This paper also realizes the expression and storage for the system using generalized list and verifies the system by actual product design.(3) Based on the research of the knowledge model and classification mechanism above, according to the characteristics of product design knowledge, this paper also does further research on design knowledge retrieval mechanism. This paper realizes hierarchical design knowledge retrieval mechanism. In the mechanism, this paper fully considers the designers'feedback and improves the efficiency and service quality of knowledge retrieval. (4)Finally, design and develop knowledge management platform based on management mechanism and propose specific application of the mechanism of this paper.In this paper, five-remembered knowledge representation model, design knowledge classification system and design knowledge retrieval mechanism are proposed. This paper provides a theoretical basis and application support for companies to manage design knowledge and develop innovative intelligent design platform.
