The 21st century is an era of information explosion, people living in a variety of information symbols. People in different ways rapid and sensitive layers of screening, the final filter out information they need symbols, these methods are sight, hearing, smell, touch and so on. Receiving information through visual is the fastest, easiest way to be accepted by the people. Also in the culture, visual symbols spread has become the most effective way to spread local culture. With the advent of the Internet, it shortens the distance of time and space, breaking the shackles of visual symbols of traditional geographical spread, dilute the geographical and cultural differences, so that the risk of regional cultural assimilation and extinction. This danger in the cultural aspects of building design is also reflected, regional cultural buildings as a visual symbol and carrier of culture, bears the spread of the geographical and cultural features. Today, however, can be seen everywhere copying, imitating modern cultural building, or is that some designers often put things another culture cultural buildings within the area of visual symbols of hard to move the local region, resulting in "acclimatization", so cultural buildings lost their original role in the spread of the local culture. Therefore, under this background, precisely in order to effectively address the lack of cultural buildings predicament in terms of geographical and cultural aspects of expressive force. In based on the geographical and cultural basis, trying to carry on through the regional architecture style, material, color and other aspects of research, digging with regional cultural connotation of visual symbols, in order to practice the way to explore the ways to geographical visual symbols and the organic integration of cultural buildings. In the actual building design, the authors hope that by creating a demand in line with modern aesthetic, yet human and territorial architectural space, from the "shape" to the "spirit" and finally "Vivid."This paper discusses the process is divided into five chapters. The first chapter focuses on the background, scope, purpose and meaning, and with reference to current research, identified the topic of the necessity and urgency. The second chapter describes the regional visual symbols and cultural buildings of these two concepts, but also the object of this paper to study for a deeper level of understanding. The third chapter, through research a few classic case of cultural architectural design, its design concept and intent of the inquiry, we learned some of the ways these classic cultural building in the excavation of local culture with regard to the use of visual symbols. The fourth chapter, further from semiotics, psychology and aesthetic point of view made the necessary research and analysis, and access to large amounts of relevant information, trying to find the application domain of visual symbols on the effective integration of cultural buildings in some of the entry points. The fifth chapter is the core content of this paper is to find the main visual symbol of the geographical and cultural buildings organic integration solutions designed to practice the way through, which is part of this topic describes how abstract visual symbols regional mining and refining, as well as How will this abstract symbols and then the organic integration and harmony in the environment and cultural architectural design. Finally, the practice of design expression, to show the final results of practice.
