Research On The Cultural And Creative Design Of Zhongshan Cultural Symbols

With the rapid development of our country’s economy,the living standards of residents have been greatly improved.People start to pay more attention to the spiritual level of consumption,and the trend of purchasing cultural and creative products gradually rose in the country,thus forming a cultural boom.The Zhongshan State Site is located in Pingshan County,Shijiazhuang,Hebei Province,covering an area of 35 square kilometers.It was the capital city of Zhongshan State during the Warring States period over 2000 years ago.Most of the unearthed cultural relics are rare treasures.They show the unique symbol form of Zhongshan culture,which has caused a sensation around the world.This mysterious history is increasingly receiving widespread attention,so the number of people coming to the Provincial Museum to explore the culture of Zhongshan has doubled.However,from the perspective of the types,forms and quantities of souvenirs related to the museum,it is far from meeting the needs of consumers.Therefore,how to develop high-quality characteristic souvenirs of Zhongshan symbols is an urgent topic that needs to be considered and studied.This research paper first traces the history of Zhongshan,systematically analyzes and sorts out the relevant cultural symbols of Zhongshan,and researches and analyzes the current situation of cultural products.Secondly,combined with excellent design cases and design concepts at home and abroad,using the basic principles of design semiotics,this paper expounds the relationship between culture,symbols and cultural and creative products,and focuses on the basic methods and principles of transforming cultural symbols into cultural and creative products in Zhongshan.Thirdly,through design practice,the necessary methods and basic approaches for symbol transformation are verified,including the selection of typical cultural symbols in Zhongshan,product positioning,induction and organization of forms,material selection and craftsmanship,etc.Efforts are made to inject the connotation of Zhongshan cultural symbols into the product,and to organically integrate regional,practical,and contemporary characteristics into the product shaping process.
