RFID is radio frequency identification technology that can non-contact quickly and efficiently identify multiple targets.It can work in harsh environments. It is widely used in all walks of life, involving the supply chain, logistics, warehouse management, retail and other fields. Point of Sale system uses barcode recognition technology for sales management of goods that leads to low settlement efficiency, relatively high theft rates and other problems. The current research status of RFID cash register system was analyzed. Taking the customer’s shopping experience and the security of RFID system into account, a relatively functional RFID self-service payment system was designed and implemented. The main contents are as follows:1, According to the requirements analysis, the hardware platform, the software architecture and security protocol were designed. The system adopted C/S architecture consisting of server and client. The client consisted of self-payment terminals and RFID alarm door. The high-speed seamless UHF RFID reader as hardware development platform and the VS2008 as software platform were adopted. RFID self-checkout lanes and the fast-track to meet the different needs of customers were proposed, which reduced the cost of the system.2, According to the system design, the self-service payment terminals, RFID alarm door and server were implemented. Self-service payment terminals provided management, shopping, returned purchase, information query and other functions. It controled the on-off of self-checkout lanes screen doors according to the state of inventorying tags. The system used high secure CPU card to pay. RFID security alarm door is the last secure barrier. Server processed management messages, shopping messages, returned purchase messages, information query messages sent by the clients using multi-thread technology.3, A low cost, higher security RFID security protocol suitable for self-service payment systems was designed and implemented. The hardware identity information, random number, and AES encryption algorithm were adopted between UHF reader and server. The random number, MIXBITS function and Rot function were adopted between UHF reader and tag.4, The function modules and system security were tested in the paper. The results showed that the functionality of the system is well able to meet the actual needs of the users. The protcol was proved feasible and practical.The merchandising system combined with RFID technology can effectively improve checkout efficiency, reduce the labor intensity of cashiers and reduce the theft rate. It provides the actual case for domestic supermarket transformation.
