With the launch of strategic target of comprehensive construction smart power grids by State Grid Corporation of China, the traditional electric meter already can not adapt to the development of intelligent power grid and the requirements of the customers. Therefore, in this context, the design is a charging terminal between smart meters and concentrator based on the structural framework of the smart grid system function in this subject,which designed to improve charging terminal management capabilities for smart meters, and to promote the interactive of smart meter and consumer, and it provides better technical support for the smart grid smart metering.In this thesis, the first chapter the paper introduces the background and the significance, and research status of the home and abroad, the content and the objectives of the research is proposed. The second chapter expounds the relevant technologies and structures of the system. Then, the overall system design of the charging terminal is given according to the system analysis. The third chapter describes the hardware design of the charging terminal, which including major hardware selection and circuit design of all modules. The chapter four narrated the system lower position machine software design as well as sub-module flow chart and computer management system of charging terminal has been designed using PowerBuilder software.After the system was tested, the various functions have been achieved, the equipment is stable, and meet the needs of the proposed design. Finally, the conclusion of this paper and the outlook are given for farther study.The charging terminal successfully completed the recharge and communication management for the actual needs of smart grid and users, which has a very broad market prospects.
