High precision spiral bevel gears model is the key technology in digital manufacturing(such as tooth contact analysis, tooth surface error correction and testing, etc.). At present, the modeling of spiral bevel gears are mostly begins with basic theory of the meshing theory, to avoid the defect of the spiral bevel gear with approximation spherical involute tooth profile error. A new design of spiral bevel gear with spherical involute tooth profile is proposed. By using the dynamic analysis, the dynamic characteristics and vibration characteristics of the model were researched, which provided a new train of thought and ways for the digital model of spiral bevel gear.The theory profile curve of spiral bevel gear tooth is spherical involute. According to the precision components and shape characteristics of tooth surface, spherical involute forming principle was applied to derivate equation expression of basic curve of tooth surface which finished parameterized curve of the tooth surface. In order to improve the precision of tooth surface, NURBS surface fitting method refactoring for tooth surfaces was used. Through 3D software simulation movement, the gear model shows that the modeling method has good feasibility and correctness of transmission.Based on accurate parametric model, the model of the dynamic meshing characteristics are studied through the dynamics analysis method. To master the passive wheel speed and acceleration variation law as the breakthrough point, from the meshing speed and load factors of two typical working conditions, studied the meshing impact characteristics of spiral bevel gear. The main change law of passive wheel rotation speed and acceleration, and the tooth surface contact stress nephogram. Completed the research of dynamic characteristics of spiral bevel gear, and verified the practicability and accuracy of the model.Through the geometric structure analysis and mechanics analysis of gear pair model. Gear coupling vibration system dynamic model is established and the model of motion differential equation after got along the direction of the passive gear vibration displacement response, completed the study of gear vibration characteristics. In order to avoid resonance, using the modal analysis of the passive gear model of modal was studied, the main drive gear under the stationary state of each order natural frequency and vibration model of figure. At the same time also illustrates the gear model has good vibration characteristic.
