With the rapid development of economy, industry also began to face new challenges. Gear box, as an indispensable part in a mechanical product, is widely used in all walks of life, especially in the machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, aviation, navigation, power system and national defense industry, etc. The transfer of energy in gear transmission system is more and more powerful, the rotation of the gear is becoming more and more fast, its working accuracy requirement is also more and more strict, facing to the problems of vibration of the more tricky, vibration will not only reduce work performance, but have a greater impact on the using performance. So, studying the vibration problem of gear box housing is particularly important.First, choosing the single-stage gear reducer box as research subject got the model data, then completed the plan drawings and 3D modeling by the use of the 3D drawing software, and imported it into the analysis software to complete modal analysis, eventually obtained the inherent characteristics of the box structure. Build a box modal test platform for distribution box, with hammer percussion as incentives to get the box modal test analysis. Further modify gear box model parameters until it coincided with the test mode state. After completion of parameter modification and the establishment of transmission engagement of bending-torsion coupled dynamic equations to calculate the dynamic support load, and the loads was applied to the corrected, cabinet model for transient analysis, eventually got the strength results of body analysis results. The subject of the amendment tank structure combined with theoretic knowledge and modal test results, and the finite element model of the box was amended by designing and optimizing the box structure. It has a certain reference value to some other structural.
