With the rapid development of social economy, the highway in the entire transportation system plays a more and more important role. In the 1980 s, the highway enterprise has obtained prominent development of our country. In the 21 st century, some highway’s projected lifetime has gradually reached to use age. At the same time, along with the rapid development of economy and the enormous growth of the people’s travel, the current highway can not meet the needs of the masses of the people, and there are a large number of highway need reconstruction. Highway reconstruction is different with the new highway. It is a engineering construction behavior that broaden and renovate the road by using the existing road resource based on the original highway route corridor belt in order to improve the service level, traffic capacity and the safety of engineering construction. It needs to reuse and refurbished on the basis of the old road. As skeleton of highway, linear is the most critical technology index in highway design. It has a direct impact on the safety of the highway vehicle running. Therefore, in view of linear evaluation of the highway reconstruction has becoming an important direction of highway alignment evaluation research.In this paper, highway alignment evaluation has been carried out by using running speed as the research index on the basis of the research at home and abroad. The relationship of the vehicle running speed and road geometry linear has been systematically analyzed. A few of speed index of linear safety also has been studied, and the highway linear comprehensive system-highway linear adaptive evaluation model is establishedn by using principal component analysis.Firstly, The main factors affecting the speed change has been analyzed from four aspects of people, vehicles, road and environment through analysizing and summarizing domestic and foreign current research situation.Then it is found that the main factor which is impacted the car speed is the road geometry linear. Designed speed, expectations speed, running speed, limits speed other relevant metric which is aiming at highway alignment evaluation index has been studied. Through the comparison and analysis depended on the above relevant metric, running speed is confirmed as the highway alignment evaluation index. Secondly, through the summary of the previous studies, and build the speed prediction model was been built, At the same time,using the running speed difference(△85V)at adjacent Road Segment of a single vehicle to evaluate the highway alignment continuity has also been put forward; then the linear Evaluating the comfort of linear was evaluated with transverse and axial acceleration; The safety of the linear was estimated With the relative magnitude of speed variation coefficient and unit mileage speed difference. Fitting evaluation index and standard of Reconstruction highway linear were also been put forward. Then comprehensive evaluation of three major indicators were carried out by using the principal component analysis. Finally, the comprehensive evaluation of linear was achived through the adaptive coefficient.Using Jingshi highway road reconstruction as a case, evaluate the reconstruction of highway linear research by using the adaptability evaluation model through on-side investigation and data analysis. At the same time, in view of highway reconstruction linear fitting evaluation and analysis and the corresponding improvement measures were put forward.
