With the development of the science and technology, the vehicle is no longer just a means of transportation, people has higher requirements for its functionality and safety. Telematics wireless communication system is a main research point in the field of vehicle networking and intelligent transportation, its breakthroughs and improvements will undoubtedly bring a new atmosphere for the automotive industry. If we can transfer the vehicle driving state and vehicle data information to the distal end of the control center timely and accurate, and the control center can judge whether the vehicle is in a security risk based on these data, prompting or warning, the driving safety will undoubtedly greatly improved.This paper studies the modern wireless transmission technology used in the automotive industry. Information gathering and information transmission systems use radio waves and other network or wireless way to transmit data. In this paper, telematics wireless communication systems, includs vehicle information acquisition and storage as well as wireless remote sends. CAN networking technologyto used to collect the vehicle information,and the 3G and WIFI wireless transmission technologysend are responsible for the remote sending. In this paper, K60 controls the CAN transceiver PCA82C250 to realise the information collection, controls the vice chips SIM5320 and CC3100 which embedded communication protocol to realise the remote transmission of information.This paper has developed overall system design, studied the whole system works. Hardware platform telematics systems was built through circuit design and PCB production, respectively, from the power circuit, K60 minimum system circuit, CAN bus interface circuit, SD card data storage circuit, 3G application circuit, Wi Fi application circuit design,completes the hardware design and realise good performance hardware platform. In the hardware platform software development, complete CAN driver, 3G communication driver design, Wi Fi communications program design and so on, through the board testing, this design telematics systems feasible.
