Nowadays, the major cities are facing increasingly serious traffic problems, and with the expansion of urban space, the peripheral area will gradually form multiple groups, deputy centers and new towns. It will bring huge traffic pressure to the central city, especially cars? travel to the road traffic pressure. By building park-and-ride system based on rail transportation network, the car transport will convert to the public transportation through the way of park-and-ride. It can improve the appeal of the passenger flow of the public transport, reduce the number of cars entering into the central city, and achieve the purpose of ease traffic pressure. Not all stations are fit for park-and-ride. Rational park-and-ride system can reduce travel time and cost, can enhance the transport efficiency.Firstly, the paper analysis the park-and-ride system, finding that it contains two kinds of different modes of transport. One is the rail transportation with "network" properties, the other is car transport with "individual" attribute. Rail transit must form a network to play its biggest transport efficiency, and the network system has a close relationship to the urban spatial form. The car must be leeched on the road, and the road traffic flow characteristics have great influence on car travel. From the study, regardless of the urban spatial form, the urban road network and traffic distribution present hierarchical state, and the "cost value" is different at different levels. The "general expenses" can be used to describe the different levels of car travel consumption.Secondly, through the analysis of the transfer mechanism of the car and the rail transit, the process park-and-ride is made up of four parts. They are the car part, rail transportation part, transfer part and walking part. According to the main influencing factors of each part, the Generalized Cost Model is built.Then, using the Generalized Cost Model, Logit Model building and car trips, calculate the park-and-ride amount of each station, and classify the station by K-means Algorithm.Finally, analyze the urban spatial form of Xi?an, the characteristics of rail transit network and the transportation. Demarcate parameters in the model according to the economic level and traffic statistics of Xi ’an. Calculate the classification of stations of Subway Line 2 in Xi ’an. And by comparing with actual park-and-ride usage, conclude the park-and-ride requirements of each type of station.
