In recent years, with the development of long reticulated shell structures at home and abroad, because of its reasonable force, large coverage, they are widely used in the dense buildings, such as the stadium, airport, railway station. It will cause a heavy cost not only in people’s lives but also property security in the earthquake. So how to adopt the corresponding seismic measures and adopt reasonable method to calculate the seismic action to mitigate earthquake damage is urgent research topic. Due to the natural vibration characteristics of such structure and complicated structure form, need to consider the linear and nonlinear factors to accurately calculate the earthquake action.The study on the anti- seismic performance of long reticulated shell structures. The effects of response between the structure of the linear and nonlinear are compared under horizontal and vertical duration earthquake respectively. The main works are as follows:1) Structure under linear and nonlinear time history response analysis of the realization of the model and analysis method. In this paper, on the basis of summarizing the research achievements of predecessors, using seismic displacement time history functions is given under the input structure considering material nonlinearity and geometrical nonlinearity.2) Analyzing a long net shell structure of 270 meters wide and 60 meters long in seismic analysis, considering material and geometric nonlinear factors, using ANSYS software simulation, the nonlinear seismic time history analysis. The results show that the seismic design for super long net shell structure, in order to guarantee the safety of structure and economy, it is necessary to adopt the nonlinear analysis method for structural seismic analysis.3) Because of the complexity of the ground motion, while ground motion is analyzed and the influence of vertical seismic load to the structure strength, by the long reticulated shell structure buckling form shows weak area, provide a reference for engineering structure seismic design and reinforcement.
