Urban Road Space Landscape Design Research

The speedily running wheel of the times lead people into the automobile age, which a society advocate speed, efficiency and the technology of information. Urban road began in front of the world with different appearances. "Speed" as the theme of "large and sparse" swept into the inner cities, the road widening and increase become the norm of city streets. The original urban road space form has been challenged. People began to realize the construction of urban road space in the new period should coordinate the relationship between the people leisure and transportation, coordination the balance between road space and pedestrians’ visual scale. So how to build the urban road space and realize the symbiosis of pedestrian and public space is why this article write from the perspective of the road space frame.As a designer, in the face of the challenge of speed, how to seeks effective means for build the urban road space and adds urban road space the new function by the way of landscape design is one of the most important content and its significance in this paper that we study.This article start from the the perspective of the impact factors of urban road space landscape design, it can be divided into material entity that is dominant factor and recessive factor which hidden behind material entity include the history and culture, science and technology, environmental factors.From the commonness and difference of the visual, perception, activities behavior between car and pedestrians,classification research of various kinds of impact factors expression in the urban road space, and proposes the construction strategy. In order to realize the reasonable landscape design of urban road space.The article studies the road space landscape design dominant impact factors- city r oad alignment, road greening road facilities, along the road construction,road sketch an d recessive impact factor- cultural history factor, time factor, environment factor and the factor of science and technology, to explore its space expression, and build strategies a ccordingly, so as to realize the effective urban road space construction.
