| With China’s social and economic development, almost in all the urban and rural areas people can use electricity, which plays an important role in industry, production and people’s daily life. However, in some remote mountainous or plateau areas, deserts or on lonely islands, the re still exist problems of electricity supply. At the same time, in China,electricity is mainly from coal-burning and hydropower which cause environmental pollution and greenhouse effect that are irreversible damages to the surroundings. Based on the situation, it will be a solution to exploit renewable resources reasonably in areas which are in short supply of electricity.Honghu, in Hubei province, located in the interior of the Jianghan Plain, is abundant in wind power. The fishery as the local pillar industry attracts many fishermen,who fish in the Honghu Lake far from the lakeshore. The area of Honghu Lake is 600 km2 and fishermen cannot meet their electricity need due to the limitation of conventional electricity transmission. Therefore, it is effective resources allocation methods to make use of local resource superiority and transform wind power into electricity to satisfy fishermen’s electricity demand.This thesis gives an exposition of theory of wind power generation, as the theoretical basis. It classifies the wind power generation equipments to support the follow-up designs and researches of the project. Based on technical feasibility, the thesis further analyzes the general situation of resources and environment in Honghu and the fishermen’s electricity demand, and on this basis, it designs small-size wind power generation equipment which is suitable for local people.It is hoped that a feasible solution can be provided to improve the resource supply in Honghu Lake area through the research of this thesis and people can enjoy services brought by this design. |
