The design of signal processing system is important part of the bridge health monitoring system. The signal information can be reflected as the design of signal processing system. Also the parameter which reflect the structural behaviour can be extracted from initial structural signal and be used in the structure behaviour evaluation. The design of signal processing system is the bond between the data acquisition system and the structure evaluation system.This paper emphasizes the necessity of processing data based on summarizing the characteristic of the mass data. The signal processing system in the bridge health monitoring system can be divided into two categories: the data pre-processing and the data secondary processing. This paper summarizes the characteristic of the existing signal processing system after introducting the practical application of signal processing in the bridge health monitoring system at this stage.First sensor system are summarized for signal processing of the source data, the layout principle of sensor is processing common sensor is given position, analyze the characteristic of sensor, summarize the characteristics of sensor signals combined with the feature of the sensor output signal, the output information and spatial distribution, depending on the type of processing signal need to bridge gives the overall framework of signal processing system.Introduce the flow of the data pre-processing and the data secondary processing. Expound the significance of signal processing based on the monitoring data. Introduce the setting mode of the digital filtering and the wavelet denoising based on the bridge structural vibration data.Show the concrete framework and effect of implementation of LabVIEW in the process of the data pre-processing and the data secondary processing based on the examples.Analyze the necessity of the database designing. Shoose SQL Server as the development tool aftering contrasting various database. Introduce the concrete step of designing the SQL Server database with LabVIEW.Finally, apply the designing signal processing system to the bridge’s data come from a actual measurement and a real-time collection. The effect of processing is very good aftering observation.
