As is known to all, the loader shovel has the characteristics of cavity with complex structure, dense welds and larger stress concentration, although the efficiency can be increased with the intelligent use of arc welding robot, but welding deformation problem and critical welding defect become more relatively prominent and general topics.So this article main research is loader shovel’s welding deformation and critical defect control, to study and improve the implementation and promote from three dimensions, the desired purpose of the project has been achieved by the field test method finally.Optimizing welding process parameter and sequence can decrease the shovel deformation to a minimum through the advanced welding simulation technology. This topic will establish the model through PRO/E, ESI SYSWorld make meshing for the model, then calculate relative deformation and stress intensity through welding sequence input. Based on the welding test and welding simulation, simulation of the bucket weld one by one, by adjusting welding sequence welding robot programming, statistics of the regional joint influence on the deformation, formulate reasonable deformation process was the lowest, the deformation is reduced to a minimum.Promote the arc welding robot system. Aiming at the complexity of the loader shovel structure, arc welding robot application in production exist some outstanding problem: severe welding defect, high robot defect rate and outage rate, production efficiency and quality can’t accord with company quality and capacity requirement. According to the design principle of several kinds of robot at home and abroad, systematic improved by arc welding robot system and production process. For example, robot wire feed system improvement; the gun system optimization; robot program improvement etc. have obtained better results. Greatly reduces the welding defect. Provides an example of automatic welding equipment in large and complex structure of the medium and heavy plate.Optimize welding process. Based on the analysis of welding and arc welding robot shovel in the process of the location characteristics, combined with the simulation results of welding, optimize the shovel structure type and welding sequence, and make a detailed spell points work instructions…And to develop a detailed spell operation instructions, welding operation instruction, at the same time, through the strengthening of the operator training and other measures, so that the welding deformation has been effectively controlled, greatly reduce welding defects.The implementation of the project, so that the welding deformation is reduced by 30%-50% shovel main board, correction after welding time is reduced by 50%.
