With the rapid development of hydraulic technology, synchronous control techniques have wide applications in hydraulic systems. Hydraulic synchronous motor with its structure characteristics are widely used in the hydraulic synchronous systems of many hydraulic actuators and high synchronization precision requirements. However, the synchronization precision of synchronous motor is severely affected by load distribution. For this reason, this paper presents a method of load pressure compensation by the pressure compensation valve to reduce the synchronization error of gear type synchronous motor, so as to improve the synchronization precision of gear type synchronous motor.First of all, through the analysis of synchronization error about gear type synchronous motor, the synchronization error of gear type synchronous motor is proportional to the load pressure difference. Therefor, design the pressure compensation valve. Then establish the simulation model of the pressure compensation valve in the simulation software AMESim. Based on the analysis the static & dynamic characteristics of the pressure compensation valve, the main parameters of the load compensation valve are optimized, ensuring the pressure compensation valve has good stability, accuracy and rapidity.Then, establish the simulation models of the gear type synchronous motor systems with the pressure compensation valve and without the pressure compensation valve. Take comparative analysis of the influence of the load compensation valve to gear type synchronous motor.Through the compensation of load pressure by the pressure compensation valve, the pressure compensation valve increase the synchronization precision from ±1.5%~±2.5% to less than ±1%.Finally, the pressure compensation valve is designed to integrate with gear type synchronous motor together, to make it easy to use the gear type synchronous motors with the pressure compensation valves.
