Blasting is more and more widely used in water conservancy construction, the development of underground space, traffic tunnel excavation, the demolition of urban high-rise buildings and other related geotechnical engineering field. The scientific method should be used to monitor blasting vibration, and carry on the reasonable analysis and summarized, so as to make objective and accurate evaluation of blasting which has the extremely important practical significance. Wavelet(packet) method is a better method of signal processing, according to the characteristics of the analysed signal, adaptively choose to match the frequency spectrum of the signal spectrum. Wavelet(packet) analysis is used to improve the resolution of time-frequency analysis, and it applied to the analysis of blasting vibration signal which is an important practical significance in engineering application.This thesis starts with the domestic and foreign research situation of blasting vibration. Then, this thesis introduced the wavelet(packet) transform analysis theory of the formation, development, improvement and application. Combined with the whole construction process of Xiangjiaba engineering and supporting facilities construction, the different blasting type such as water tunnel, left bank high slope, the left and the right bank underground powerhouse, cofferdam demolition blasting vibration and notching groove blasting vibration of hydropower stations, the vehicles running vibration monitoring data and the earthquake vibration, using wavelet transform analysis method "db8", and using MATLAB program for processing and analysis, to explore the rules of different vibration types.The focus and innovation of this study is,(1) In the same situation of maximum explosive quantity in a sound, with the increase of blast center distance, all directions of the maximum blasting vibration velocity decreases significantly, the ratio of the medium and low vibration frequency increases, and the main frequency of blasting vibration has a tendency to reduce.(2) In the same situation of blast center distance, with the increase of maximum explosive quantity in a sound, all directions of the main frequency of blasting vibration decreases. With the increase of total amount of explosive, and other conditions unchanged such as blast center distance and maximum explosive quantity in a sound, the main frequency of blasting vibration has a tendency to reduce too.(3) Based on the same monitoring point, wavelet analysis method is used to analyse various types of blasting data of the main engineering of hydropower station and natural earthquake. Middle and long distance of the blasting vibration is similar to natural earthquake vibration characteristics, providing reference for middle and long distance blasting vibration control standards.
