Pneumatic net of large civil aircraft includes air conditioning systems, anti-icing system and so on which cost bleed air. Lots of engine bleed air will consume fuel directly, and affect the thermodynamic cycle efficiency of engine. Analyzing energy characteristic of pneumatic net, reducing consumption of engine bleed air, improving utilization efficiency of pneumatic power, is an effective way to save fuel and improve economical efficiency of aircraft.Literatures about pneumatic net of main types of large civil aircraft at home and abroad were collected and sorted in this paper. Working principle and structure characteristic of every subsystems of pneumatic net were analyzed, including air supply system, air conditioning system, anti-icing system, water tank pressurization system and fuel tank inerting system. According to some papers like handbook of aircraft design, a typical structure of pneumatic net was presented after comparing different types of subsystems. Considering the flow and heat transfer, mathematical models of each system and main parts were established based on their working principles. Using MATLAB/ SIMULINK, the simulation model of pneumatic net was finished, which was calculated under a typical flight envelope of civil aircraft and used to analysis energy characteristics of every subsystem. On the basis of these calculation and analysis, some structure and control strategies were improved to reduce the amount of engine bleed air and save pneumatic power.
