Without windings or permanent magnets, switched reluctance motor has the advantage of simple structure、high error-tolerance and high reliability. The switched reluctance motor which can operate at both generator and motor modes is applied to aviation more and more extensively while its potential of development is great. With the development of the distributed power supply system, the more and more power system capability is required and one single generator can not satisfy the requirement. The parallel operation of two or more generators without current-sharing scheme often lead to imbalance of their output power and negative effect on the performance of system including motors and control components. In this paper, the aims of parallel current-sharing control are to balance the two switched reluctance generators’ output power and to improve the reliability of the system. The introduction of switched reluctance generator’s developmental characteristics and research content is given at first. After that, this thesis introduces the components and operating principle of SRG system, and compares typical control strategies in order to select the most suitable scheme for the generators in this system. Then the paper gives out the system modeling of SRG in Matlab/Simulink. Through the simulation of single generator system, the turn-on and turn-off angle of SRG is optimized. Comparison of several commonly-used current-sharing control strategies is done, and take the maximum current-sharing method into application. The current-sharing loop is applied into the system, which is verified by simulation. The last part introduces the hardware and software components of SRG system. An experimental platform of SRG is built with a DSP control system as its core. This paper introduces the design of motor proper, the power conversion circuit, the control circuit, the position detection component and other hardware. On the aspect of software, this paper presents the overall framework of the software, and emphatically introduces the design of position capture, calculation of angle and rotating speed, AD sampling and DA output, voltage closed loop and CPLD logical integration in this software. The paper introduces the hardware and software design of a current-sharing scheme with the application of CAN bus. Based on the above platform, the start and generation of switched reluctance motor and parallel operation experiments of SRG are completed, and the feasibility of the parallel control scheme is verified.
