| Efficient information management means occurred in the fields of construction as the guiding ideology raised by state government that increase the construction industry’s productivity and reduce waste. Recently the application of information technology in the construction industry has grown incredibly and the requirements for that are much higher now. Building Information Modeling(BIM) as a new concept technology is crucial in various aspects because of its unceasing innovation and integrative, reused functions. Meanwhile, it is also play a major role in construction cost management. This thesis focus on analyzing construction project’s dynamic cost control based on BIM from general to specific. The thesis first analyzes the traditional construction project’s dynamic cost management, and then summarizes a linear and a circular frame from the perspective of BIM. Then using having a BIM model and choosing a contract planning as focal points to narrow and determine the study scope and subject. After that the thesis divides construction project into five stages according to dynamic cost control’s key nodes. They are engineering preparatory stage, land bidding stage, designing and purchasing stage, building and constructing stage and project assessment stage. In each stage the thesis expounds the opinion of work focus and the employment of BIM, and then draws a flow and system graph of construction project’s dynamic cost control based on BIM. Five stages are different but all of them are indispensable. The link of contract and BIM model and the built of three level BIM cost model in designing and purchasing stage are key points in this study. Cost information and BIM model are combined together after this stage. At last, this thesis particularly analyzes the cost control in building and constructing stage, realizing the model and non-model control in the combination of dynamic cost control table. A case study also is given to explain the situation of dynamic cost’s changing. After a comprehensive analysis, the thesis lists the difference, strengths and the developments of dynamic cost control based on BIM. |
