| In modern Chinese architecture field, globalization has strongly interfered, architectural style has such high similarities, which caused the reduction of geographical feature and national identity. This situation awakes Chinese contemporary architects to focus on regional culture communication and continuation, also enlightened the exploration of creative and thoughtful thinking of regional architecture, thus, the better way to express the characteristics of the regional architecture becomes the core study of different countries architect fields. In actual architecture creation works, to learn and study local area’s traditional architecture are the main ways to generate architectural heritage and develop regional characteristics, and to carried out the extensive exploration and practice of a creative approach to regional architecture.In this paper, which the current environment for the creation of regional. architectural as a study background, combined with practical projects, a guidance of new architecture design in style renovation area is proposed. Based on the relevant research and reorganize of previous studies, as well as combining the idea theory and practice of modern architectural design experience, the paper propose a guide to Xiushan Meijiang River traditional buildings practical works and explained design details.Under the guidance of research, the paper combined Xiushan Meijiang River landscape planning and style architectural design throughout the design process to analyze the problem projects. Also the regional culture of the style corridor planning, where Xiushan Tujia minority gathering, is positioned, and the generation of regional heritage architecture is regard as the design core for this project. In project-specific design to traditional buildings, learning and researching Tujia traditional regional architecture are extremely important. With fully understanding of local architecture and access to relevant documents, summarization and refining of traditional architecture Tujia Mei River area, the subsequent enlightenment of local characters design and application elements would be available to later Jiaohua Pavilion’s practical design progress. After studied of the form factors of the local traditional architecture and explored various aspects in-depth study of history, economy, culture and social conditions through out the whole design process, the ethic regional characteristics of Xiushan Meijiang River is fully expressed. The Jiaohua Pavilion design is to explore the traditional regional architecture creative approach on the basis of this study combining with practical, and in terms of the overall layout of the concept, architecture space and style form, construction technology to analyze the project. From a deeper, integrity analysis angle to understand the project, explaining how to resolve the combination problem of terrain conditions and environment and the functional needs, the way to reasonable reproduce and the innovative use of the traditional architectural features, and also how to integrate modern technology into the ethic geographical characteristics of traditional forms, pointed to the answers to meet the combination needs of the regional culture building, modern functions, style forms fixes and give local culture and architectural characteristics of the times.Above all, based on the experience accumulated in the project creation process and to analysis, understandings and reflections throughout the design process, the paper gives a exploratory summary of the traditional national regional architecture creative approach. In the base of actual design conditions and characteristics of the traditional layout of the building, we make harmonies of architecture and the surrounding environment while the natural environment and traditional culture concept is considered. Inheritance using morphological characteristics of traditional architectural culture, we hope that the traditional culture and the spirit of the times integrated in the functional requirements of a modern building structure. We argue that we need to creatively use local building techniques to rebuild the traditional architectural forms and adapt to local environmental characteristics. |
