The method of strengthening Reinforced Concrete by bolting plate is to drill the surface and to set anchors to concrete structure, using a fixed anchor plate, so that the overall structure and steel become a unity that can sustain common force. This method,as a new reinforcement method, with its stability and reliability, is better at improving the structural capacity. In the meanwhile, the construction process is easier and more efficient, and it’s not easy to peel it off the substrate construction, and thus it has become a focus of technology research and promotion. Anchors, as a core component of this strengthening system, its performance in shear behavior directly affects the safety and reliability of the reinforcement method. But researches on the anchor technology are not advanced enough; no uniform standard has been established.Therefore, further study on bolt shear performance, particularly with respect to its variation by the shear stiffness, is not only necessary but also substantial.Based on basic study on the single anchor cut in shear, in a large number of factors,this article chooses, among many other influential factors, the base material strength,anchorage depth and bolt diameter as the focus of this research. This study is to analyze the variation of shear behavior under different circumstances. Firstly, 195 single anchor are tested by shear, and then numerical simulation are carried out by ABAQUS finite element software. Through these two techniques to further study the modified forms shear bolt mechanism of action, and shear parameters on relationship characteristic curve.Contents of this paper are:① Rationale: discussion of the current research, including a comprehensive summary of the type of anchor, its work principles, damage characteristics, stress factors and calculation methods.② Shear test: 195 single anchor, their design depends on the anchoring state, will be tested by shear, investigating the mechanical behavior of anchors and modified forms,exploring characteristic curve of shear load and shear displacement, analysis base level,embedment depth, anchor diameter, margins and so on influence of shear capacity of the anchor bolt and deformation(shear rigidity).③ Finite element simulation: We analysis the shear performance of single anchor by using ABAQUS nonlinear analysis with powerful functions. Analysis shows that thefinite element software can simulate the shear anchor mechanism, and the software results are consistent with test results, verifying the influence low of tests well.④ Conclusion: The last comprehensive experimental study and finite element analysis lead to the conclusion of my study. Based on the experimental results, I also present that the stiffness of the deformation should deem as a benchmark of designing ideas, attempting to quantify the bearing capacity for anchor slip and stiffness.
