Chemically planting steel bar has been widely used in resisting shear force inpost-installed anchor group and the connections of beam-column in concrete structures, butthe researches on shear bearing capacity in these two cases are few, so there are pivotal rolesin the development of theory and technology in chemically planting steel bar. This paper use two methods: theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. In thetheoretical part, firstly study on basic anchorage length, lap length and the shear bearingcapacity of post-installed anchor group has been done, and the computational formula issummarized; then study on the shear bearing capacity of connections of beam-column hasbeen done, the computational formula is also summarized. At last relevant tests are simulatednumerically by the finite element program ABAQUS. Obtained the following conclusions:1. From ABAQUS numerical simulation results of the shear test on the post-installedanchor group we can see: the capacity calculated by ABAQUS is bigger than theory, theformula of specification and Hilti both tend to keep. The change of anchor’s spacing has littleinfluence on the shear bearing capacity, and the change of anchor’s edge distance has biginfluence on the shear bearing capacity.2. From ABAQUS numerical simulation results of the shear test on the connections ofbeam-column: Embedded steel bar’s drawn displacement is very little, suggesting that itworks well when the anchorage length is15d, using nonlinear spring element to simulatecohesive action between planting bar glue and steel bar is reasonable, and it embodies thecohesive action of planting bar glue. Compared with theory and test, the capacity calculatedby ABAQUS is didn’t appear to be much different, suggesting that the finite element modelbuild by ABAQUS is reliable in this paper. Finally generalization of this paper is issued and advice on further research is presented.
