As an important civil industry mechanics algorithm, finite element method has been widely applied. In practical engineering applications, because of element division sophisticated, complex loading conditions, calculation of finite element method is relatively large, the speed and accuracy of manual calculation can not be achieved engineering requirements. This inevitably spawned the birth and development of finite element software.Traditional finite element software is based on the Fortran language, with the development of computers, C++ language began to apply the finite element programming, the appearance of C++ make up for the shortage. However, finite element software based on Fortran and C ++ were not out of the Windows operating platform.With the arrival of 3G era, mobile’s timeliness, portability and many other features got a lot of attention, more and more areas began combining with mobile terminals. Engineering conditions varied, higher accuracy and timeliness of the civil sector, combined with the mobile terminal field must have its potential and prospects for development.Traditional FEM general steps: Discretization of struction, calculation element stiffness matrix, forming the overall stiffness matrix, establish a balance equation for the separator nodes, load is applied to form a whole load matrix, importing boundary conditions, solving equations. Firstly, the theoretical formula of structural displacement calculations derived under certain circumstances, as a basis, by analysis calculating step of the traditional finite element method, design a VC ++ finite element program, and through an example based on the program confirmed the VC ++ finite element feasibility. Meanwhile, in the feasibility research, our array establish different models, compare the results of thin and coarse mesh grid, clarify the characteristics of the finite element method itself, finite element method is an approximate calculation and its precision depend on its grid. Finally, throngh combination VC ++ and Java, using Android SDK&NDK completed the development of mobile terminals Civil FEM software.The main features of the software is able to import data and complete calculation of finite element model, combined with the Java language, through the application framework building, the class definition, call C++ functions, etc., correct the calculation process and the resulting data is displayed on the phone’s desktop, the software is out of the Windows platform which is the traditional finite element software based on, confirmed the feasibility civil engineering industry with a combination of mobile terminal.
