Research On Shenzhen Phoenix Village Protective Update Strategy Based On Symbiosis Theory

Historical and cultural village is the mankind precious heritage, with the constantly expanding of city, the fringe area always appears characteristics of both city and rural. Ancient village located in marginal area is facing the contradiction between protection and the development of city. Shenzhen Phoenix Village is a typical representative of historical and cultural village located in urban fringe area. The village is seated in Baoan district Shenzhen city, it is the gathering place of Wen Tianxiang’s descendants, moreover it is the largest and most complete ancient building in Shenzhen at present. After some protection and renewal, Phoenix Village still have no unsustainable activity, and there is still a big gap with city in aspects of function, space and cultural life. How to realize the interaction between village and city is an urgent problem to be solved.Symbiosis theory is a biological theory and has been widely applied in multiple disciplines. The introduction of symbiosis theory and construction of symbiotic system between village and city are conducive to the establishment of consistent symbiotic relationship between ancient villages and cities. The paper firstly studies the symbiosis theory and puts forward the three factors of symbiotic system, namely the symbiotic unit, the symbiotic environment and the symbiosis model. Then the paper clarifies the interaction relations of the three factors and analyzes the applicability and guiding significance of the symbiotic theory in the protection and regeneration research of the ancient villages. Combined with the research of symbiosis theory and ancient village protection and updating, the paper clarifies the connotation of the three factors of village and city symbiotic, constructs the symbiotic system of ancient village and city, and establishes the strategy system of protective renewal. Based on the theoretical research, the paper analyzes the present situation of Phoenix village and community in the three symbiosis factors and points out problems among them. Finally, aiming at the problems, the paper proposes three strategies, namely optimize the symbiosis mode to guid direction, strengthen the environment to promote symbiosis, and harmonize symbiosis unit to implement the symbiosis, then gives a further specific strategy for each strategy.Through the research, the paper constructs the protective renewal strategy of ancient village based on Symbiosis Theory, improves the research on the protective renewal theory of ancient village, gives guidance to the practice of protective renewal of Phoenix Village, and provides reference to the similar cases.
