Separation of spacecraft devices are achieved by the explosive bolts, but complex shock and vibration response with a high frequency will occur in unlocking process. Because of limiting of the number of element, finite element method can only solve transient analysis of low order modes of the simple model. Therefore, in order to study the high-frequency vibration response of complex models, statistical energy analysis method is proposed to solve the problem of structural vibration in high and broadband frequency.First, modal density of flat, curved panels and honeycomb sandwich panels are solved and then are compared with the results by VAONE software. The error is small, so the results of software calculating are credible. And the mechanism of losses factor in the structure and the coupling loss factor are analyzed, and the case of vertical plate of coupled connections is solved by its theory. It is also compared with the result for the simulation of VAONE software, and the result of study is reliable. Those results lay the foundation for the Statistical Energy Analysis.SEA model of the entire satellite is built by the VAONE software, and subsystems are named for the subsequent analysis. Meanwhile the boundaries of the low frequency and high-frequency region are determined by the modal number of subsystems in the entire satellite. Frequency domain displacement response of the sheet is derived by its theory, and the result is compared to the result of finite element method and statistical energy method. The results of finite element method in the low frequency region are fully consistent with the analytical ones, and the results of statistical energy analysis and analytical solution have the same overall trend. Based on the analysis of the sheet, the vibration frequency response analysis of the entire satellite by the finite element method and statistical energy analysis are made, and the correctness of statistical energy model is verified by comparing their results. Finally, by comparing the analytical solution of the transient displacement response comparison of sheet and results of impulse response calculated by VAONE, VAONE software solver used to analyze the shock vibration based on statistical energy method is correct. Simulation of a single-point and four-point explosion is made, and by changing the entire satellite quality and materials, analyzed the effect of different parameters on the shock response. Thus, shock response spectrum of separation of the satellite by unlocking from the rocket will be indicated. In this paper, starting from the parameters of statistical energy analysis, methods, VAONE software solver and SEA models are verified from simple to complex. Finally, shock response spectrum of separation of the satellite by unlocking from the rocket is obtained, thus the valuable reference will be provided for the beginning of the design of satellite and the prophase of machine vibration test.
