In recent years, with the steady development of the national economy, China’s construction industry has shown a good development tend, many new buildings are erected. Masonry buildings are widely used in our countryside because it is compatible to the local economy. However, seismic performance of masonry buildings is poor in recent several earthquake, and the casualties and property losses often happens due to the collapse of masonry structure. This paper mainly studies the inadequate seismic performance in reinforced masonry buildings, so it takes the prestressed technology in masonry buildings to solve this problem. From the load bearing member of the reinforced masonry single story buildings, this paper start from the reinforced masonry wall to study the stress characteristics and deformation performance of reinforced masonry under different normal stresses, in order to provide the reasonable range of stresses determined by the comprehensive factors. In order to solve the above objectives, this paper focuses on the shear bearing capacity of reinforced masonry wall, and carries out systematic research. Its main work includes: First of all, based on the currently experimental data of reinforced masonry wall, this study make a detailed analysis of the influence of shear span ratio, horizontal reinforcement and axial compression on shear strength of reinforced masonry wall, so that it can provide support experiment on the test sample and influence of various factors for finite element analysis, followed by the first, probability model is adopted under the seismic action with reinforced masonry wall reliability research, this paper analysis of the axial force, horizontal reinforcement, shear span ratio, ratio of grouted and other factors on the reliability index of reinforced masonry wall, and it analysis the reliability index of the wall which be strengthened by means of prestressed, so it can provide a theoretical basis for the variables importance in reinforced wall shear performance. Finally, a detailed three-dimensional finite element model of reinforced masonry wall is developed based on ABAQUS platform. Due to validate the model with experiment, this study take expanded parameter analysis of each factor of wall under different conditions, such as the variation law of peak carrying, displacement ductility, equivalent stiffness of reinforced wall. Considering the reliability analysis,it can provide the reasonable value range of normal stress. Through the above research results, the initial influence of related variables in reinforced masonry wall shear performance is studied, it can provide reference for the practical application of the prestressed masonry structure, it is very important for the development of our country’s construction industry and concrete block industry.
