With the rapid development of social economy, the contradict ion between supply and demand of urban traffic is becoming more and more sharp. Vigorously develop urban public transportation is recognized as an effective measures to get rid of the urban traffic proble m. With the popular ization of advanced science and technology, the public transport system becomes more and more complex. How to build effic ient multi- modal public transit system is the key to solve the problem of urban traffic.This paper studies the mult i- modal public transit network, aiming to present a method to determine the scale an proportion of different layers.First, the urban bus trip distance distr ibution model is established. Analys is of urban public transit data, using double parameters weibull distribut ion model and simulation of the electron c loud distribut ion model fitting the selected cit y bus trip distance distribut ion ratio data. C omparison and analysis, fitt ing effect to determine the final selection model, and the model parameters influencing factors are analyzed.Second, determine the trip distance form theory- oriented and advantage. Theory-oriented and clear the form funct ion, using the generalized cost fusion of various influenc ing factors of residents travel mode choice of public transport, determine the form theory-oriented advantage trip distance, the quantitative theory- oriented function, lay a foundation for the line network leve l configuration.Once again, calculate each form theory-oriented and reasonable scale. Is presented based on the residents’ travel distance distribut ion and advantage travel distance method for determining the proportion of each mode theory-oriented, using the method of traffic demand to measure the scale of each form theory- oriented and reasonable.Finally, determine the mult imodal theory- oriented funct ion grading model. Based on supply and demand balance, to form is obtained in transit, on the basis of reasonable size, fina l form theory-oriented and grading.
