There are many kinds of loads with different power load indicators and release process in power systems. Accurately grasping the characteristics and trends of power load is not only the foundation for business expanding access and power grid planning, but also the basis for the development of relevant technical standards and management systems. Power planning department should accept the power business expanding requirements, the new or increasing power applications, and should determine a reasonable way of power supply, which can meet customers’ demands. Therefore, it is necessary to study an effective way of power supply, which can ensure not only the safety and quality of power supply, but also the economic operation of power grid.Taking Guangzhou power grid as the example, characteristics and trends of power load, especially that of customers’ load, are deeply analyzed from the microscopic point of view. According to user classification method of marketing speciality, nineteen kinds of typical customers are analyzed, and each kind contains decades of samples. Load data from 2008 to 2010 is collected from SCADA and measurement automation system, and the samples are covered widely. Then, the power load index is established, in which power load indicators and releasing process of all kinds of customers are analyzed. Characteristics of customer loads are deeply analyzed from the dimensions of load curve, utility coefficient and stage load coefficient. Load density is studied by taking six kinds of typical users of business expanding installation for example. Technical standards of business expanding access are proposed on the basis of the research of this paper, which determines the approval principles of private transformers, public power distribution rooms, private or public feeders and substations. The standards improve the accuracy of installation load forecast from bottom to top, and lay a good foundation for power grid planning, power grid operation, and power demand side management. Therefore, asset utilization has been greatly improved. Results of this study can provide guidance on specific business management. |
