This paper chooses a special "Tianmen" structure as the main characteristics of residential door type among them as the research object.Based on the study of the gate type architecture, first through a large number of literature reading and sorting the development history and the important historical information. Through the study of the regional layout of villages and buildings in different periods, different types of comparative analysis, grasp the characteristics and the development of prototype, rules of local houses, lay the foundation for the future further research in traditional residential buildings and the protection.Based on the study of the Tiananmen style houses, summarizes the types and the type of Shixing and Renhua, mainly selected the Tianmen style houses in Xiafu village and Shixing Village as the main analysis object.
