Study On The Spatial Characteristics And Upgrading Of Urban Waterfront In Tianmen River

The river is the starting point of human civilization,nurturing the city to thrive and eventually creating today's glory.As the accient river course of Hanshu i,Tianmen River has a long history and lots of tributaries.It runs through Tianmen and plays a great role in the emergence and development of cities,which make it the mother river of Tianmen.The migration of the Jingling's city site is gradually approaching the Tianmen River,and a large area of early blocks had been developed during the Ming Wanli period.From then on,the Tianmen River waterfont began to developed gradually.Nowadays,the pollution of rivers is serious,the living environment on both sides of the Straits is deteriorating,the destruction of the landscape along the river and the random construction of the buildings are serious.Tianmen River is a pool of stagnant water now while it was the the aorta of urban development and the prosperous waterfront has also become a synonym for bad messy.This situation is in urgent need of improvement.This paper takes the waterfront area of the cross river small city as the research case and the relationship between the city and the river as a clue,investiga ted the characteristics of the space status of the Tianmen river city waterfront,the riverside traffic,the riverside landscape,the riverside street and the riverside block,and analyzed the generation of the waterfront,the evolution of the spatial form,the relationship between the river and the city.On the basis of the investigation,the problems and difficulties faced by the urban construction and development of the Tianmen River waterfront are analyzed,and the future construction and development of the waterfront area in the Tianmen River are discussed,and the principles and directions of intentional design are put forward.Through the above investigation and analysis,the current situation of the Tianmen riverside water area is collected and arrang ed,not only the development of the Tianmen River waterfront area is discussed and suggested,but also the reconstruction and renewal of other city groups in the surrounding county and even the other cities in Jianghan Plain is of certain reference signifi cance and inspiration.
