These are directly related to the vital interest of urban residents, which have received great attention. On this background, the concept of urban ecological environment protection gradually penetrated into all aspects of urban planning. People has explored a set of corresponding, and widely recognized ecological strategy and concrete operation methods in all aspects of urban planning. Meanwhile, the Smart city has a tendency to rise which is directly promoted due to the rapid development of information technology. To tell the truth, the Smart city provide us with a method to solve the urban problems, but at the same time, it’s a concern that the construction blossom of the Smart city all around China may cause great bad influence to the ecological environment. As a result, it’s urgent to study the ecological strategies aim at the new tendency of the Smart City space. Firstly, in the study, the vital relationship between the Smart city and excellent ecological environment is proved from the aspects of the Smart city’s connotation, the history of human development, the key technology and urban space planning. Secondly, taking Zhu Hai Heng Qin New District as an example, the study tries to apply mature ecological strategies to the Smart city urban space planning in the aspects of the overall ecology safety pattern, the urban land layout, the urban green space system, the urban traffic system. Last but not least, the study deduces the Smart city space planning skills and the spatial development trends on the basis of the second work’s achievement. In conclusion, the study not only processes a now application of the ecological strategy, but also provides advice to the Smart city ecological development.
