The modern project management should be the integration of modern information technology and advanced management concepts. The effect of modern information technology to improve project management has been recognized by the industry, information technology development in construction industry is the future trend. Project management collaborative work information platform is important support tools to achieve the project information management, especially in large-scale construction projects, its application is even more essential.The research and application status of construction information at home and abroad were comparative analyzed, the project information management features summed up, the problems of project information management at the present stage were points out, and the reasons were systematically analyzed in this thesis. Coincides HZMB Zhuhai Port Construction on the occasion, The research of large-scale construction project management collaborative work information platform against the background of specific projects through aspects of the research and analysis of platform functional requirements, functional module reasonable division, the management process optimization and data flow diagrams design, database design, system functional competence and interface design, etc.Finally the information platform was divided into nine functional modules by the research and analysis of the functional requirements and after consultation with the participating units. The optimization principles of goal-oriented projects, giving priority to efficiency, oriented information platform and consideration to all parties were finalized, the optimization of implementation steps were formulated, the methods of diagnosis and optimization of existing processes were summarized by analyzing the process optimization factors, including ideas factors, organizational system factors, human factors, technical factors and financial factors. And the management process optimization and data flow diagrams design were given examples to illustrate in detail.The design of large-scale construction project management collaborative work information platform is focused on, and the design principles of the information platform is summarized, and the user access to platform, and the three layers architecture based on B/S structure of information platform are designed, the database design, including design principles, entity attributes, E-R diagram, database dictionary, etc., system interface design and partial research results show are placed in the last part of this thesis.
