A Study On Landscape Design Of Public Space In College Campus

At the end of the 20 th century to the beginning of 21 st century, a lot of projects of new campus construction have sprung up in the Chinese colleges and universities,some universities has actively transformed their environment in order to meet the needs, especially the reconstruction of old area. As part of the campus culture, the design of public space landscape in campus should fit the education concept, the positioning and development goals of the school. At the same time, it is a public space to satisfy students’ material and spiritual culture needs. Therefore, in order to play the role of public space in campus fully, this paper mainly designs a personality,connotation, culture landscape public space, providing a new reference of the construction of campus in university.At first, this paper analyzes the relationship of function and form of public space landscape in campus, and puts forward to the design of square as the core and function as the partition. Secondly, with the concept of relationship between structure and elements, the public space landscape in campus should pay attention to the details in the paper. At the same time, the paper also interprets the culture connotation of public space landscape in campus, analyzes the influence factors of university campus culture, hope to shape the spirit of the geographic to promote the connotation of campus culture. Finally, the paper introduces the concept of public art to the design of public space landscape in campus, clarify the significance of it in the university campus, and applying it in the reconstruction of the old area, explore the development of public space in campus in the future.
