Research On The Landscape Design Of Campus Public Space Under The Interaction Concept

With the acceleration of urban development,the functions and forms of campus public spaces no longer meet current needs,and many campus landscapes are still in the traditional landscape mode,lacking a design concept that keeps up with the times.The article proposes to apply the concept of interaction design to campus public space landscape design,providing a basis for design through analysis of the user population and corresponding needs analysis,Furthermore,the article discusses design elements,principles,and strategies,emphasizing specific design strategies such as emphasizing interaction,introducing technological elements,and utilizing themed spaces.The summarized design strategies are then applied to the landscape design of the public spaces in the Caotang Campus of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology,with the aim of improving the interaction and functionality of the campus public space,increasing the participation of faculty and students,and creating a more comfortable,convenient,and meaningful campus life experience.The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical and practical references for future campus landscape designs in universities.
