In architectural history, masonry structures play an important role. At present, the masonry structure is the main form in the suburbs of cities and rarul area. With the development of industry, the pollution of acid rain appears upward trend, especially in the area of Yunnan, Guizhou, Jiangxi and Chongqing. A lot of durability research work of masonry mortar and block in the environment of acid rain has been conducted. But mortar and block work together in practice, so the research of the basic mechanical properties of recycled aggregate concrete brick masonry under the acid rain environment is very important. However, due to the influence of the vagaries of climate and the test equipment, there are no relevant reports on this area so far. In this paper, in order to cater to concept of sustainable development, the recycled aggregate concrete brick masonry be used as the research object. In Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology using the advanced artificial atmosphere laboratory system, through theoretical analysis and experimental study, the following jobs are mainly done in this paper:(1)Combined with the research content and purpose, the relevant parameters of artificial atmosphere environment simulation test system were determined, then according to the relative endurance testing of concrete, the damage index system and associated corrosion system of recycled aggregate concrete brick masonry were developed; the performance indexes of various building materials used in the experiment were given.(2)Considering the dispersion caused by various factors in the experiment, the cyclic corrosion tests of the three kind of masonry mortar test block with different components and recycled aggregate concrete brick under acid rain environment were implemented, the influence of different spray-light corrosion cycles of acid rain on the appearance and compressive strength was studied, the decay relation of the compressive strength of masonry mortar test block and recycled aggregate concrete brick with the spray-light corrosion cycle times increased was established.(3)The influence of different spray-light corrosion cycles of acid rain on the shearing properties of cross section of recycled aggregate concrete brick masonry was studied, 28 masonry specimens were divided into four groups and were corroded with different spray-light cyclic number, the comparative and analysis about similarities and differences of failure form and failure process of each specimen was implemented; the experimental data were fitted, the mathematical relationship between the shear strength of recycled aggregate concrete brick masonry and spray-light corrosion cycle number was given. Based on the existing research results, the influence factors of shear strength of masonry were analyzed.(4)The effects of different spray-light corrosion cycle number of acid rain on the compression performance of recycled aggregate concrete brick masonry. 32 masonry specimens were divided into four groups and were corroded with different spray-light cyclic number, the decay law of the compressive strength, elastic modulus and stress-strain relationship of recycled aggregate concrete brick with different corrosion cycle times increased was established. The experimental data were fitted; the mathematical relationship between compressive strength, elastic modulus of recycled aggregate concrete brick masonry and corrosion cycle number was given. The experimental stress-strain curve was fitted, the constitutive relation of recycled aggregate concrete brick masonry under different corrosion cycle time was given.
